SVS Guidelines and the VQI Presented by Dr. Kraiss and Dr. Forbes at VQI@VAM 2018

There is wide variation in compliance with SVS AAA guidelines and room for improvement. VQI is a valuable tool for determining impact of guidelines and compliance and further work required to align CPG’s and VQI. Dr. Larry Kraiss and Dr. Thomas Forbes presented the SVS Clinical Practice Guidelines and how VQI can be used together to demonstrate compliance.

Dr. Jens Jorgensen will also be presenting a related abstract, ‘Redefining the Volume Outcome Relationship for Endovascular Aneurysm Repair’, has been accepted for presentation in a CX Abdominal Aortic Abstracts session at the Charing Cross International Symposium, Olympia London, 15-18 April 2019.
