SVS VQI Quality Care Champion Program

The SVS VQI Quality Care Champion Program shines a light on SVS VQI members who actively leverage patient data to drive continuous improvement in vascular care. This program honors centers that go above and beyond to ensure quality patient care remains at the heart of their organization’s mission.

Initially launched in the fall of 2024, the Quality Care Champion Program began with a focus on Carotid Care Quality Champions—centers participating in the Carotid Artery Stenting (CAS) and Carotid Endarterectomy (CEA) registries. These centers demonstrated exceptional dedication to using SVS VQI data for performance benchmarking, peer comparison, and evidence-based improvement in carotid procedures.

Following its successful debut, the program has now expanded to include active centers across all SVS VQI registries, broadening the recognition of quality excellence across the full spectrum of vascular care.

Becoming a Quality Care Champion

Participation in the Quality Care Champion Program is open to active VQI centers that meet defined benchmarks for data submission, engagement, and improvement initiatives. Recognition as a Quality Care Champion reflects your center’s commitment to excellence, collaboration, and leadership in vascular quality.

All you need to do now, is share your wins however you choose. Display badges on your website and social media, send out a press release, celebrate within your center – or maybe all of the above!
