About the Southeastern Vascular Study Group

The Southeastern Vascular Study Group is directly modeled after the very successful Vascular Study Group of New England (VSGNE) and is a cooperative group of clinicians, hospital administrators and research personnel organized to improve the care of patients with vascular disease in the states of Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. By collecting and exchanging information, the group hopes to continuously improve the quality, safety, effectiveness and cost of caring for these patients.

The Southeastern Vascular Study Group functions under the auspices of the Society for Vascular Surgery Patient Safety Organization (SVS PSO), and works cooperatively with the VSGNE, as well as other regional study groups, to benchmark outcomes after vascular procedures and assure that patients everywhere are receiving the highest quality of care possible.
